Jump in the saddle and see the sights of London with the RideLondon 46! Enjoy the freedom of peddling on closed roads.
If the 100 mile isn’t the one, you can still jump in the saddle and see the wonderful sights of London with the RideLondon 46! Enjoy the freedom of peddling on closed roads during the world’s greatest festival of cycling.
Aimed at more novice cyclists, yet still enjoyed by cycling legends Sir Chris Hoy and Sir Bradley Wiggins, you’ll pedal through London and Surrey and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere of this truly mass participation event.
This is your chance to feel like a professional without the pressure. Set off at your own pace from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with 5000 other cyclists and enjoy a tour of London’s biggest landmarks, free from traffic lights, cars and pedestrians. Enjoy the Surrey countryside before finishing your amazing day out down the iconic stretch of the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
“As my professional career winds down I’ll be spending more time encouraging families to get out on their bikes. The 46 miler is ideal for that. I’d encourage anyone who’s interested in getting out and giving it a go.” – Sir Bradley Wiggins
"One of the highlights was being cheered on by the police as I was going through many a red light!"
"The most amazing cycling event I've ever taken part in. The closed roads and the crowds made it a day I'll never, ever forget."
The 46-mile route starts and finishes right in the heart of London with cheering crowds spurring you on. You’ll venture out into the rolling Surrey Hills, avoiding the steeper climbs of the 100-mile route. Enjoy a traffic free trundle through some of the most iconic and stunning scenery you can see on a bike, before returning to London.

We’re the only charity dedicated to providing expert care and support from the moment they hear the word cancer. We treat them as young people first, cancer patients second and everything we do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival.
