The UK’s leading veterinary charity, saving and protecting pets.
The PDSA has a vision of a lifetime of wellbeing for every pet; through pet ownership education, prevention of disease and carrying out operations through their 48 hospitals. Every year they deliver 2.7 million veterinary treatments, many of them life-saving.
Every £5 raised can pay for needles used in an operation or £60 could help pay towards a heated operating table.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at PDSA will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.

We run 21 rehoming centres to save over 16,000 abandoned dogs annually.
Dogs Trust care for over 15,000 dogs each year at their 21 rehoming centres across the UK and Ireland and never put a healthy dog to sleep. They promote responsible dog ownership with training and education to prevent abandonment where possible.
Of funds you raise, £20 helps to buy a dog bed or £50 can help with the cost of neutering a dog in their care.
