Rachel's Birthday Bash

The Holiday Inn at Northampton is open again, we've physically checked! The course is all as it always has been and we're ready for events there again. The downside of this is that we're already super birthday-themedcommitted in 2024 and looking at available dates we came up with one, in August and this one, Rachel's Birthday in May, and then that was it, the only free dates we have in 2024 before we retire. So Rachel has kindly donated her birthday to the SVN cause and in return we're going to have a birthday themed event and medal for her. The caveat is that we're only going to get 56 of the medals, so only the first 56 folks entering will get the Rachel's Birthday Bash medal, we really don't want to do the usual thing of getting in 150 medals six months in advance, having a field of 92 and then there is no chance of us ever being able to use the medals again so we're going to make them very limited edition indeed. There is no significance whatsoever in the number 56. Obviously, Rachel is 21, 23 tops... folks entering after the initial 56 will receive a choice of excellent SVN medals! The event will be a six hour timed challenge event. Complete as many loops as you wish within the time limit. Run a half marathon, a marathon, an ultra and earn some Yeti bling! The course is a mix of very high quality bike paths and grassy trails along the River Nene and around several flood reservoirs, so plenty of wildlife and views to be seen. It's pretty flat, only about 40' of climb per lap. Please explore the race and consider joining us!
