Event overview

The brand new WAUT 100M. Starting from Bangor Pier on the Menai Straights the route follows the Welsh Coastal Path all the way around the lands end of the North Wales Coastline, passing through woodland, trails, villages, beaches, and rivers, taking you to some of the most scenic and remote places in Europe. A very generous 36 hours to complete ensures all abilities can give it a go and we’ve also got a few sleep areas for you at the many aid stations along the way. (If you think you may take longer don’t hesitate to get in touch with info@penllynultra.co.uk for the earlier start option) As well as a Solo Option there is a ‘Pairs’ option (Reduced entry fee) to take encouragement from oneanother. The course is waymarked and there is an experienced event team looking after you. You also have a tracker from Open Tracking to ensure we, your friends and family know your whereabouts throughout the race. All Aid stations are fully stocked with food and drink and VOOM Nutrition, collaborating with SheRaces we have a feeding and changing area in each and a selection of sanitary and hygiene products. The finish area and Ultra Camping Village at Abererch Sands Holiday Village provide a fantastic location to celebrate your victory and cool off in the sea.
