Event overview

Set in the stunning scenery of the Devils Punchbowl in Surrey, the Punchbowl Challenge has been running since 2013. The event provides a number of race distances, from the 10km race down to a 50m dash for the younger competitors. With at least 50% of the entry fee being donated to the local Haslemere Primary schools, the Challenge is a great way to not only enjoy the beautiful countryside, but also support the local community. 

Join for what promises to be a great day out on the trails, with fun for the whole family to enjoy.

The Races

The Challenge will consist of 5 races to allow the whole family to compete and enjoy the day out.

Registration open from 08:00am.

The Venue

The Challenge will be held at the Devils Punch Bowl in Surrey, starting and finishing adjacent to the National Trust Car Park in Hindhead. There are a number of facilities provided at the National Trust or near the site, including:

  • Parking - free for National Trust Members or card/cash payments for non-members.
  • Toilets available at the cafe.
  • Cafe facilities for hot and cold food & drinks.
  • Picnic Areas around the cafe. 
  • Adjacent Punchbowl Hotel for accommodation before/after and pub lunches, dinners and post-race drinks. 


Getting There

The Devils Punchbowl is located just off the A3, on the south side of the Hindhead Tunnel and is easily reached by car, with ample parking available. 

If traveling by train, Haslemere Station can be reached in less than an hour from London Waterloo. Taxi's are available at the station for the short 10 minute ride up to the Punchbowl.
